I loved it! This book had everything that I look for (great characters, plot, world building, etc.) and I couldn’t put it down. It had elements that stuck with me and I would highly recommend it to everyone I know.

I really liked it. This book was really good and had most of the elements I look for when I’m reading. It may have had a couple problem spots, but nothing that distracted me from reading.

I liked it O.K. The book had some of the elements I look for, but could use a little more work. This tends to be the most popular rating I give to books. I didn’t love the book, but I didn’t hate it either. I’d probably recommend it to someone if it suit their interests.

Eh, could’ve been better. I tend to use this is a book was especially frustrating and lacking in character development and/or plot. However, I didn’t necessarily hate the book. It had a couple redeeming qualities that kept me going.

I didn’t like it at all. In fact, I’m probably quite frustrated that I spent my time reading the book (and my review may come across that way). I tend to go on the verge of hate with one star books because I spent time that I will never get back muddling through them. I try not to give a book a 1 star rating. I try to find some sort of redeeming qualities in everything I read.
