Celebrating the Little Things Tag

I’ve had quite a few tags pile up during my blogging slump, and since I’m sitting here at work with nothing to do at the moment (I’m not slacking off, I promise!) I figured I’d do some tags. 🙂

This first one I was tagged to do this by both the lovely Emily & Heather. Please, please make sure you go and check out their blogs because they’re awesome ladies that put out some amazing content (and super nice). You will not be disappointed.

Who was your very first follower (if you can find out)? Tag them and give them a shout out!

Sooooo I think one is a tie. My very first WordPress follower was Meredith, whom unfortunately doesn’t really post on her blog anymore. My first e-mail follower was my grandma, whom reads my blog whenever she can.

What was the last milestone you reached?

I had mentioned in my 2017 Blogging Goals post that I wanted to reach 200 followers, aaaand guess what? I did! I cannot thank everyone enough for stopping by, reading my ramblings, and choosing to follow my little corner of the internet.

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us!

My first few blog posts were reviews that I had written on Goodreads and decided to transfer over to my blog.  So technically my very first blog post was a review of Matched by Ally Condie. My first blog-exclusive post was my first Monday Morning Cuppa post. I’m actually pretty proud of that one because it’s one of the more creative posts I’ve done for MMC.

Who was your most recent follower? Tag them and give them a shout out!

Yesterday I was followed by Kimberly over at Tea is a Wish Your Heart Makes. Her site is super cute and she blogs about tea. Definitely go check her out!

What was the last post you posted and who was the very first person who took their time to click the like button? Give them a shout out!

I posted my Bookish Turn Ons for Top Ten Tuesday, and the first person to like the post was Arlene from Dreams and Escapes.

How many months have you been blogging for?

It’ll be 15 months next Thursday or Friday, I believe. Time flies, eh?

Do you have any bloggers you’re friends with? Give them a shout out.

As Emily mentioned, I got to meet her last year at BookCon and that was an awesome experience, she’s super cool and we have a lot in common. Lauren @ Wonderless Reviews is such a sweetheart and I’m usually replying to her on twitter. Reg @ She Latitude and I have some awesome conversations in the comments. Kay @ It’s a Book Life and I read the same stuff and we’re always fangirling over someone (especially Rhysand). I mean, I hate to be mushy but I seriously consider all of you guys my friends (unless that makes it awkward) and I wish we could just have one big book blogger hangout. Wouldn’t that be awesome???

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

The last tag I participated in was The Valentine’s Day Tag and that was created by CC’s Books on YouTube.

Have you any social media related to your blog?

I do have a Twitter and my personal Instagram where I post bookish related things. I did create an account for m blog, but I’ve been too chicken/lazy to delve into the world of bookstagram. Oh, and I also have a Goodreads account as well. They’re almost always linked at the bottom of my posts (and will probably be there on this post as well).

Last but not least …. just say thanks to all your followers.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you lovely people who have joined me on my little blog. I can’t believe that there are over 200 of you now!

If you were shouted-out to in this post, you are now TAGGED. Go forth and celebrate the little things!
