Top Ten Tuesday: Ten 2016 Releases I Missed

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and your Monday didn’t completely you kick in the butt. Maybe it’s the meditation or the fact that I don’t start work until later in the day, but I usually find that a case of the Mondays isn’t something a nice cup of coffee, tea, or wine can’t fix. 😉

Anywho, today is Tuesday which means that it’s time for Top Ten Tuesday. This is a meme created by the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish. Each week we’re tasked with compiling a list of ten items based around the topic for the week. This week’s topic: Top Ten 2016 Releases I Meant To Read But Didn’t Get To (But TOTALLY plan to).

Unsurprisingly, this one was easy for me thanks to the Great Slump of 2016, which caused me to miss out on a lot of great books simply because I didn’t feel like reading them.

I linked each title to Goodreads in the off chance that you haven’t head of any of these books.

And last, but most certainly not least (but much to my chagrin):

That’s it! The sad part is that I owned most, if not all of these books. So that wasn’t the issue, however I feel motivated to keep reading, so I’m sure I’ll be getting through these books in no time. 😀

What were some releases you missed last year? Feel free to leave a link to your TTT below and I’ll be sure to pop by and check it out. 🙂

I read Heartless and AGOS and quite enjoyed both. I can’t wait for A Conjuring of Light to come out next month! Hope you’re able to get to all of these soon(ish) and enjoy them 🙂

That’s how I feel about Sarah J. Maas. 😂😂 I’m totally willing to give AGOS another try now that I’m out of my slump. I hope I like all of them too! They all sound so good. 😀

Crooked Kingdom was an amazing ending to the duology. The intricacy of the plot was phenomenal and the character dynamics were so insightful and complex. I hope you get the chance to read it soon. 😀
